Viña Mara opened in 2002. The ethos of the restaurant is to serve excellent food, give friendly and professional service, welcome our guests to a warm cosy atmosphere and of course, to guarantee our guests excellent value for money.
Fresh, local produce:
We strive to source all our food produce as locally as possible; meats from the green grasslands of Ireland and fish from the waters of the Atlantic. All food is prepared in our kitchen by our team of Chefs.
We bake bread freshly every day, make our own sauces, garnishes and ice creams. This ensures that our guests area always guaranteed a unique food experience at Viña Mara.

Head Chef
Joe Flaherty has been Head Chef at Viña Mara since 2007 and has brought huge energy and enthusiasm to Viña Mara. Joe has a passion for sourcing and using only high quality, fresh produce and in preparing interesting and exciting dishes. All food is prepared fresh every day with a huge emphasis on organic produce where possible.
Joe, originally from Renvyle, Connemara, has worked as a leading Chef in many restaurants including the award winning Renvyle House Hotel, Connemara.
